April Product Update

April was a big month for Freshline. We shipped 17 features to production, focusing on inventory control, order processing, storefront experience, and enterprise integrations.

Inventory & Stock Management

Negative Inventory / Overselling Toggle

You can now allow overselling on a per-product basis. Enable sell when out of stock for high-velocity items that you know are coming in, while keeping standard inventory controls on everything else.

Bulk Inventory Updates via Excel

Upload your existing inventory spreadsheets directly into Freshline. New lot IDs automatically create new lots, while existing lot IDs update current inventory.

Order Processing & Fulfillment

Standing Orders Rebuild

We completely rebuilt standing orders with full schedule management and future order flexibility. Customers can now pause, skip, edit, or end recurring schedules at any time, while also adding or removing products on individual upcoming orders without disrupting the overall schedule.

The new system includes a calendar overlay, per-instance editing, early conversion to regular orders, and significantly improved visibility into upcoming fulfillment activity for both buyers and internal teams.

Quick Edit Presets

Save and share column layouts for Quick Edit sheets. Set up presets for packing, routing, or fulfillment, then switch between them with one click.

Streamlined Checkout

We upgraded the checkout experience with a faster, more streamlined ordering flow designed for high-frequency wholesale buyers. Customers can now select their preferred delivery or fulfillment date directly at checkout, helping reduce back-and-forth communication while giving your team cleaner order data from the start.

The updated checkout also includes our upgraded embedded recommendation engine, surfacing relevant complementary products directly during the ordering process to improve product discovery and increase cross-sell opportunities.

Ctrl + Enter Form Submission

Hit Ctrl + Enter on any form input to submit instantly. A small improvement that saves time when processing orders quickly.

Search & Product Discovery

Improved Search Ranking

Search results now use weighted ranking, prioritizing product titles, then variants, then SKUs. Multi-term searches now return smarter, more relevant results.

Semantic Product Recommendations

Freshline now supports AI-powered product recommendations directly on product pages. Previously, recommendations were only available during checkout. Recommendations are now generated using ML-based semantic matching rather than simple keyword logic, helping surface genuinely related products based on purchasing patterns, category relationships, and product attributes.

This improves cross-sell opportunities throughout the ordering experience by helping buyers discover complementary or commonly paired products earlier in the shopping flow, not just at checkout.

Image Auto-Matcher

Fuzzy matching now automatically associates uploaded images with the correct products and variants based on SKU patterns, reducing manual image assignment.

Product Import / Export Upgrades

Exports now include custom properties, QBO product IDs, variant data, and ERP sync status. Bulk updates via import are also faster and support more fields.

Storefront & Customer Experience

Custom Storefront Themes

We shipped another brand new storefront theme with floating cart, infinite scroll, dark mode, light mode, a dark/light mode toggle, and mobile-responsive design. This is now available as a template for other advanced or enterprise customers.

Price List Bulk Operations

You can now select and delete prices in bulk, making it much easier to manage large customer price lists with thousands of entries.

Admin & Security

Rate Limiting and Login Protection

We added login abuse protection with request thresholds and temporary blocking to help protect customer accounts.

Customer Notes on Orders

Notes saved on customer accounts now display directly on order pages, giving your team better context without navigating away.

Quick Customer Edits

Update sales rep assignments and add notes directly from the customer detail page without entering full edit mode.

New Notes User Interface

We added a new notes user interface to display additional information more clearly across customer and order workflows.

Analytics & Reporting

Enhanced Analytics

Dashboard charts now include customer retention views and 14-day buyer activity sparklines, helping you spot dormant or unusually active accounts at a glance.
